Privacy Policy

Favente is a product of Deo Favente, Corp.

This policy explains what Deo Favente, Corp. (dba Favente) ("Favente," "we") collects when you use favente.so, app.favente.so, and related subdomains, and what we do with it. For Creators and Brands whose data flows through a Brand's program, the Brand is a separate controller of the data it collects about its own program; this policy covers Favente's own handling.

1. What we collect

• Account data. When you sign in with Google: your name, email address, and profile photo. Brands may also connect Slack. We don't see your Google or Slack password.
• Profile data. Social profile URLs you connect (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube), niche, and program settings.
• Content you submit. Video URLs, drafts, scripts, hooks, and uploaded media, including video/audio we process for AI analysis (transcription, hook scoring, brand-brief verification, coaching).
• Phone number and messaging data. If you add a phone number, we store it to reach you about your account and, if you opt in, about rewards and payouts. See "Text messaging and mobile data" below.
• Public social metrics. To verify view claims, we collect publicly available metrics about the posts you submit (such as view and engagement counts) from the platform where you posted.
• Track-record data. Approved views, approved claims, earned badges, trust and reliability scores: the creator "passport" that powers your résumé.
• Usage, device, and tracking data. Clicks on creator tracking links and public program pages (IP address, user agent, referrer, hashed identifiers), session data, and in-app activity.
• Legal records. Terms acceptances, consent records, and creator-agreement signatures, with timestamp and IP address, kept as an audit trail.
• Payment data. Payments run through Stripe. Stripe collects and stores your banking/tax details under its own privacy policy. We store only payout/subscription status and amounts, never full bank or card numbers.

2. How we use it

• Operate the platform: programs, training, claims, verification, payouts, and notifications (in-app, email, SMS where you opt in, and Slack where a Brand connects it).
• Review content and view claims (creators self-report each milestone with a link and proof; Brands approve, with optional peer review), including AI analysis of submitted videos and checks against public social metrics.
• Coach creators: AI feedback on hooks, scripts, and videos.
• Show Brands the performance of their own programs (views, clicks, conversions, spend).
• Prevent fraud and abuse, comply with legal and tax obligations, and keep the service secure.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Where the GDPR/UK GDPR applies, our legal bases are: performing our contract with you (operating the service), your consent (for example, optional reward/payout texts and the public résumé), our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, improving the service), and compliance with legal obligations.

3. AI processing

Content you submit may be processed by our AI providers to transcribe audio, score hooks, verify brand-brief coverage, and generate coaching. This is automated analysis that supports human decisions; it does not by itself make a legally significant decision about you without human involvement. Our AI providers process this content only to provide the analysis to us and do not use it to train their own general models.

4. Text messaging and mobile data

We send SMS only to numbers that have opted in: one-time verification codes tied to actions you take, and (only if you separately opt in) reward and payout updates. You can opt out anytime by replying STOP, or get help by replying HELP or emailing support@favente.so. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply.

No mobile information, including your phone number and your SMS opt-in or consent, is sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We share phone numbers only with the messaging providers that deliver our texts, and only to send the messages you asked for.

5. How we share it, and with whom

• With the Brand whose program you join: your name, email, social handles, submitted content, claim metrics, and your track record inside their program.
• Publicly, only if you opt in: the creator marketplace résumé at favente.so shows your approved track record. Exact lifetime earnings are never public, only coarse bands (like "$10k+").
• Service providers (processors): Google (sign-in), Stripe (payments), our AI providers (analysis of submitted content, including Anthropic and speech-to-text), Resend (email), Telnyx (SMS), Slack (if connected by a Brand), a social-data provider for public post metrics, and our hosting/database/infrastructure providers (Vercel, MongoDB Atlas, and AWS). Each processes data only to provide its service to us under contract.
• Legal and safety: when required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the platform and its users.
• Business transfers: if Favente is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, data may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use session cookies (up to 14 days, scoped to favente.so) to keep you signed in, and first-party analytics events on public program pages to attribute visits to creator links. We don't use third-party advertising cookies or sell cookie data.

7. Retention

We keep account and track-record data while your account is active. Legal records (signatures, consent and terms acceptances, payout records) are retained as long as needed for legal, tax, and fraud-prevention obligations. You can request deletion (below); some records must survive deletion where the law requires.

8. Security

We protect data with encryption in transit, access controls, tenant scoping so a Brand sees only its own program's data, and least-privilege handling of secrets. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information and will notify you and regulators of a breach where the law requires.

9. International transfers

We operate from the United States and may process your data there and in other countries where our providers operate. Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

10. Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and withdraw consent, by emailing support@favente.so. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights:

• EEA/UK (GDPR): access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and the right to complain to your data-protection authority.
• California (CCPA/CPRA): the right to know the categories and specifics we collect, to delete, to correct, and to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, but we still honor requests. We don't discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

We verify requests before acting on them and honor verified requests regardless of where you live.

11. Children

Favente is not directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data. Payouts require being at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live). If you believe a child gave us data, contact us and we'll delete it.

12. Changes

We'll announce material changes to this policy in the app or by email. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
